The Lamy Safari is German-made and considered to be one of the best options for a starter fountain pen. This pen fills by a proprietary cartridge (LT10), which is included or using a converter (LZ24), which is not included. The LZ50 steel nib can be interchanged with other Safari, AL-Star, and Studio fountain pens.
