Reamer Measurements / Cutting tools / Tools in General

Reamer Measurements... Reamer sizes are actual micrometer measurement -
(** Unless otherwise Stated... We do have a few auction that are listed by mfg labeled sizes.*** )
We decided to
do this for a few reasons.
1) Manufacturing tolerances vary from one manufacture to another
(Generally +.0002 to +.0005 over Nominal purchase size i.e. .118 labeled reamer will mic
.1182 to .1185)
2) Sizes are not legible or not marked on some reamers,
3) used reamer may have been
resized and differ from labeled size.
We do are best to give accurate measurements, but you
should expect the possibility of some variation due to user feel, and calibration
discrepancies. If we are way off on our measurements, contact us and we will do our best to
make it right. ( measured by a machinist with 30+ years experience in medical and
aerospace manufacturing with calibrated mitutoyo micrometers).
Cutting tools / tools in general... Unless stated as "new".. Item condition may range from
unused to worn and need of sharpening / regrinding. We do not list unusable tools as used.
That being said, condition or "unusable" is very subjective to each person and application
the tool maybe used on. Please look closely at the images provided. If you would like more
images or ask specific questions about any items, please do so before bidding. Shipping is
expensive, we want you to get the right item for your application with out wasting time and
money. Tools are sold as is. If you have a problem or find a discrepancy, please contact us
and will will do our best to rectify the problem. under certain circumstances will do accept
returns, but do not provide shipping.
