Vintage LAMY 27 fountain pen gold-filled cap superb condition!

Offered for sale is a vintage LAMY 27 fountain pen, ca. 1955. The LAMY 27 is seen as a high-quality German competitor to the Parker 51. It has a somewhat similar streamlined shape, a hooded nib, and a slip-on cap.
This pen is in superb condition. It has a (somewhat) rare gold-filled cap. No dings, dents, scratches, gouges, hairlines, flea bites, engravings or removed engravings. The ink windows are clear as shown in the photo. The piston filler works perfectly. The barrel imprint is extremely crisp.
The nib, marked "585" (14k gold) is a smooth medium with some line variation with moderate pressure. See the writing sample in the photos.
